The goal of this project was to explain why the castle of Valkenburg was blown up in 1672. During my research, it became apparent that it was difficult to take this fortress because of the way it was built. To properly explain this, I created a mockup of the fortress on which I projected the different defences that were used to keep the enemy away. After much bloodshed, it was decided that it was better if the castle was no more, resulting in its destruction.
